BIO
Some places shape you quietly. St. Pete did that for me. The light, the salt in the air, the mix of cultures, the conversations at breweries, museums, artwalks. It all found its way into my work.
I come from design and photography. Years working as a Senior Art Director taught me discipline, composition, and how to tell a story without saying too much. Painting gave me the opposite. Freedom. Texture. Instinct. The permission to let a brushstroke speak before logic steps in.
My style moves between spontaneity and intention. Some call it spontaneous realism. I call it following the pulse of the moment. Acrylic is usually my language, thick and unapologetic. Sometimes watercolor softens the mood. Ink, airbrush, mixed techniques. I like crossing lines. I like not belonging to just one lane.
Travel shaped me. Conversations shaped me. Philosophy shaped me. I am interested in what lives underneath the surface. Identity. Memory. Migration. Celebration. Tension. Beauty. The things we avoid and the things we crave.
I paint to start conversations. Sometimes comfortable ones. Sometimes the kind that make you pause for a second longer than expected.
Over the years I have exhibited, collaborated with cultural spaces, curated collective shows, and stepped into live art experiences. Not as a trend. As part of the process. As part of building something real.
This is not a finished chapter. It is an evolving one. And if you are here reading this, you are already part of it.
“Life is an interesting journey, it depends on us if we can make this trip a great adventure.”
